Dave is an excellent driving instructor - he is extremely knowledgeable, supportive, calm and encouraging. I had genuine fun learning to drive with Dave and am so thankful for everything he taught me. My only regret is that I had to move away from the area before being able to pass my test. When I do eventually do my test, I will owe everything to Dave! Thank you so much for everything!

After 3 years off driving and on and off! I did a week intensive course with Dave! Today I did my test and passed first time! Highly recommend awesome driving instructor, very lovely and supports you throughout the whole thing! Couldn’t of done it without dave! Definitely will be recommending to a lot of people ??
I always thought that learning to drive would be a daunting and a bit stressful, but other than the tests :)

When I eventually get my own car i'll try to always be safe, considerate driver as you taught me, and in the meantime, I definately feel like I am a more considerate and aware cyclist these days.

I was a bit overwhelmed yesterday to say a proper thank you, so wanted to drop you an email. We have been very impressed with the calm and patient approach you have taken with teaching Felicity to drive since March, especially as she was so nervous to start with. Thank you for boosting her confidence and making her into a safe and cautious driver. We will be in touch again when our youngest comes of age!
Dave is an extremely thorough and methodical instructor and takes great pride in his work. He is reliable and punctual and makes learning to drive a stress-free experience. I passed first time (first person in my family to do so) but I feel like I learnt to drive rather than just learnt to pass the test! I'm just sorry it took me so long to post this review!

a truely good instructer - Dave really helped me build my confidence back in driving as i had previously had a bad experience with another driving instructer, i failed my first test but Dave got me straight back on the road and ready to take another test just after i think it was about 12 days. Thankyou so much i now have my own car, i would recomend Dave to anyone he is truely good at his job !!

I took lessons last year with a company and didnt get on so well, this year after just one lesson with Dave I realised I had found the right instructor for me. Dave is very approachable, explains thing patiently and in a way I understood and generally an A1 instructor. I seriously cant give Dave enough praise. . Dave ticks all the boxes for requirements to learn to drive. . I started learning with Dave after he was recommended to me. My previous instructor didn''t really give me an opportunity to learn for myself and was always telling me what to do. Dave allowed me to have independence (I could learn from my own mistakes), was very informative and lessons were always well prepared before hand. . I made the mistake initialy of booking cheap lessons and was paying £14 per hour, but I could not stand him shouting at me anymore, turning up late and finishing earlier and talking down to me. Then I switched to Dave. I learnt more in 10 hours than I did in the whole time with my previous instructor, he is everything that my previous instructor is not, patient punctual and very polite and I passed 1st Time. Passed and Proud!!! - Ive just passed my test and am extremely happy. From my first lesson to my last, Dave has been great, very helpful. My brother and sister have also passed 1st time with Dave, so its well worth learning with him. Cant fault it at all.
